Rock is awesome. It actually requires skill, instead of just getting a stylist to pretty you up and then you attempting to dance and/or sing (usually to a very poor quality).

lol, u could say the same thing about rock. most of the rock genre now is just ppl shouting out words, requires no beat/rhythm, just ppl continuously strumming chords in the same pattern. but some rock songs are good, only a few. then again, the whole music media thing is straying from actual music to just half naked ppl dancing to get our attentions.

If you listen to the rock that ISN'T on the radio...a lot of that is good. And I don't listen to bands that shout, they suck. Still better than little blonde (or black) haired teen girls bouncing to their electronic beeping and 'singing' in their electronically synthesised voices. I think a good measure of the quality of a music artist is how good they sound live.

yeah, but it doesnt matter if the singer cant sing because with computerised editing the song will sound good anyway :D. as long as i dont listen to them live :x.

i rekon disney music needs the msot talent,, i mean it hasta lyk go along with the story and have morals and stuff and theres lyk at least 5 songs per disney movie!
