Led Zep isn't really metal, just the start of rock n' roll and, well, metal. But I love Zep too!!! I'll make a thread. What do you listen to, besides Stairway to Heaven?

metal is fast loud good music with really inspirational stuff like guitar solos, not slow depressing lullaby music
and its not always anger lol

i agree with shindigbuster... SCREECHY!! like omg,, so screechy that it hurts to listen to. i guess if you turned the volume to WAYY LOW it'd be alright to listen to ==",, apart from the fact that the beats just seem to come at you continuously with no resistance or nice-ish rythm. okies,, end of meaningless rant. if anyone disagrees with me, BRING IT ON.

ok then. its just a matter of preference of what you like more =.= if you like cool sounding instruments and drumming then metal and rock is the way to go if you listen to metal with the attitude of an rnb style for example obviously its gonna sound wrong and the "beat" would be all wrong too =.= lol as for me... the beat is faster than other genres so then it would prolly be too much for some other people lol imo, metal has a lot more cool sounding stuff like high gain guitar stuff pick sliding is an example, you dont hear it in rnb pop and stuff like that, as well as uber fast crazy solos

screechy == depends wat band and wat songs u listen to........ buh most are very melodic specially "melodic death" metal....as u can see from the name its melodic xDD
a bloody 15 sec intro is better than all the panic at the disco songs mashd 2gether == R-O-L
